What does the Bloom showerhead filter out? Bloom is designed to remove the two most damaging contaminants in tap water: Chlorine and Heavy Metals (such as lead, mercury, and copper). These are the primary culprits behind dry skin, damaged hair, and color fading.
How does the filtration technology work? We use a best-in-class combination of KDF-55 and Calcium Sulfite. This blend effectively neutralizes chlorine and binds heavy metals, even in high-temperature water where other filters often fail.
Will this affect my water pressure? Not at all. Bloom is engineered to maintain strong, luxurious water pressure. In fact, many customers report better pressure compared to their old showerheads.
How often do I need to change the filter? For optimal performance, we recommend replacing the filter capsule every 90 days (3 months). Over time, the filter collects contaminants and becomes less effective.
Installation & Fit
Will Bloom fit my shower? Yes! Bloom fits all standard US shower arms (1/2" plumbing). It works with wall-mounted fixed shower arms. Note: It is not currently compatible with handheld hoses unless you have a specific adapter.
Do I need a plumber to install it? Absolutely not. Installation takes less than 3 minutes. We include a wrench and everything you need in the box. If you can screw in a lightbulb, you can install Bloom.
I’m renting. Can I use this? Yes! Bloom is perfectly renter-friendly. It causes no damage to the plumbing and can easily be unscrewed and taken with you when you move.
Skin & Hair Benefits
Will this help with my acne/eczema? While everyone's skin is different, chlorine is a known irritant that dries out the skin barrier and can trigger flare-ups. Many of our customers see a significant reduction in body acne, redness, and eczema after switching to filtered water.
Is this safe for color-treated hair? It is highly recommended! Heavy metals in tap water can oxidize hair color, causing blondes to turn brassy or green and brunettes to look dull. Bloom protects your color investment.
